What is Umang App :
Umang app is also known as Unified Mobile Application. This
is launched by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi to encourage more and more
people to adopt digital payment in the country.
It is a unified application that can be used to avail number
of pan India E-government services. Thousands of services can be accessed /
availed by this single application. It is a collaboration of almost all the
important apps.
Who designed Umang App :
UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is
developed by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and
National e-Governance Division (NeGD) to drive Mobile Governance in India
What services are provided by Umang app :
Umang App providing 21559 services (Central 622, State 657
and 20280 Bill Payment) of 259 Department (131 Central and 128 States).
With Umang, the government aims to promote e-governance and
adopt a new-age governance policy as part of Modi’s Digital India initiative.
The app can be downloaded on Android, iOS and Windows phones for free. Umang
has been developed by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) and the
Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. This e-governance
application can also be used from other channels such as through the web, SMS,
or IVR.
Procedure for downloading Umang App
The Umang app can be downloaded from Google Pay Store.
Download it and install it. The apple users can be installed from apple app
store.

How To Use Umang App
•
Umang app has to be download from Google Play
Store or Apple App Store
•
As usual it will be asked for registration.
Register it with verification from registered Mobile number.
•
Next step is creation of Profile by providing
personal details such as name, mobile number, age. There is also an option to
upload a profile photo
•
We can also link Aadhaar number to the app and
other social media accounts
•
Open the app, log in, explore what it is.
How To Register/Set Up Umang App Using Mobile Number
•
Download the Umang app from Google Play Store or
Apple App Store
•
Launch the app and click on ‘New User’. If
already user, log in.
•
As usual, it will be asked for Registration.
Register it with your registered mobile to avail services.
•
Verify on asking verification.
•
Set MPIN for quick access. Confirm MPIN.
•
As usual, Choose ‘Proceed’ and answer the
security question and continue
•
The Registration process complete.

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is a
statuary body which assists Central Board in administering compulsory
contributory Provident Fund Scheme, Pension Scheme and Insurance Scheme for the
workforce engaged in the organised sector in India. Users can check their PF
balance, Raise claim, Apply for UAN, Check claim status, apply for Jeevan
Pramaan certificate and other services using this app.

e-District has been envisaged by Government of
various states as automation of workflow and internal processes of District
Administration Services with the possibility of seamless integration of various
departments for providing convenience to the citizens. Citizen can apply for
various e-District Services, Track status and Download certificate using this
application.

Ayushman Bharat :
Ayushman Bharat Yojana or National Health Protection Scheme
is a program which aims to provide a service to create a healthy, capable and
content new India. Presently it is running as a pilot project in Uttar Pradesh
from 4 September 2018. It has two goals, one, creating a network of health and
wellness infrastructure across the nation to deliver comprehensive primary
healthcare services, and another is to provide insurance cover to at least 40
per cent of India's population which is majorly deprived of secondary and
tertiary care services. This centrally sponsored flagship scheme aims to
provide an annual health cover of up to Rs. 5 lakh to vulnerable 10 crore
families (approximately 50 crore persons – 40% of country’s population) based
on Socio Economic and Caste Census database.
